It’s dangerous to build self esteem off of being “chosen”. Women revolve their lives around men, myself included, and you wrap your sense of self around the ability to have a guy choose you.
I can take pride in only dealing with high quality men- character, goals etc. But taking pride in getting a promiscuous man to be in a relationship with me?

I say this, because many women view getting married as a goal, when in reality I view staying married as a goal. I won't let someone pressure me into marriage for sake of being married. My concept of marriage is some forever type deal, not convenient in the moment because someone wants kids, sees a good situation or come up.
