Two different things. People who commit gun crimes are usually violent and career criminals. So of course laws don’t scare them.
Most people who drive reckless are not criminals and all they need is a few people to get made an example out of to straighten up.

I understand that this is a sad situation, and it’s probably not an apropriate time, but we really need to do better about getting insurance and getting ourselves in a better financial position. It seems like setting up the gofundme is the the first thing that gets done, and it shouldn’t be this way. $100k for a funeral for 3 people?
I read somewhere that the child’s father also has a gofundme. I dont understand the purpose.

Reckless driving is just as normalized in Merica as gun crime is.
Drunk driving is a part of reckless driving, separating it that's even more normalized in Merica than committing crimes with guns.
All three are habitual criminals who put lives at risk and take lives.
Personally I've had more fam killed being hit by cars than bullets so I'm def bias in this argument, but ill stand by my statement.

I just found out who the nurse was and I worked with her as a travel nurse in L.A January - may.She was hardworking & chill kept to herself really but she did tell me she was seeing someone with a kid- nothing serious .The tea was she want to work at 7am drank and walked out around 10am- the hospital called the police …& this happened .
I pray for all the victims this was senseless all because of emotions
