I'm not jaded, I just call it how it is, I praised the decisions of giving Jericho and Omega the belts - even said Jericho winning was more interesting when the match was announced - but that doesn't take away the fact that Naito has been booked like a WWE uppermicarder, and that's retarded when you consider how over he is and how much money he generates.

Idk, at least with WWE you could understand how guys get lost in the shuffle or how angles fizzle out or get forgotten about when you consider how much content WWE puts out weekly. Gedo's booking and NJ's schedule allows for more confounding arm chair booker discussion because they really have so few angles and big shows and really a pretty small core roster that all those WWE booking problems stand out even more in NJ.

If the match quality wasn't so high in New Japan, they'd get so much shyt for their booking.

Breh, I've been watching New Japan on a regular basis for more than a decade. The "matches are great, just enjoy it" shyt stopped like 3 years ago, I barely watch anymore. I comment on the booking just like I - and pretty much everyone - do with WWE, and like a did years ago with ROH (though it's been a long time since I just stopped caring about ROH all together)

I watch and enjoy the wrestling I like the most, as you can read on the puro thread. I'm not waiting for New Japan shows to bytch and moan about them, every time Gedo actually does something interesting I praise him for it - I even did it for this show - and every time there's a match I really like, I praise it and recommended it.

There's a point in wrestling were you need more than good matches, in the last 2 years a bunch of people here in TSC who kept saying "booking is whatever when the shows are this good" with New Japan have done a 180° and clown the booking too. Same thing happened with ROH during the last years of Gabe.
