just watched the rest of the show.... was watching live but fell asleep so hard right before the bucks came out.

bucks looked legit vs evil & sanada. I thought that was a good match, and not the same match the bucks have with some of the other guys. only took 1 more bang for your buck to win the match, which I also liked.

that Kenny/Okada math was really dope to me, but the best part of the whole thing was some part of the commentary like another poster was saying before.

at some point dude was saying how nobody ever kicked out of the 1 winged angel. then he said okada never kicked out, so not sure which it is, but either way, thats great continuity.

also really loved the spot where Okada went for the Rain Maker and was just so tired the shyt didn't even effect Kenny.

them dudes left it all in the ring brehs

There were some truly awful bumps on this show though. Both intentional and accidental head drops happened in just about every match, but were particularly bad in the JR and heavyweight title matches

Yeah, Omega/Okada was good.

My low key fav match was Suzuki/Sabre vs Ishii/Yano. It showcases everybody. Ishii and Suzuki basically beating the shyt outta each other. Sabre/Suzuki torcher Yano through submissions. Still had some Yano comedy stuff. Plus young boys getting that work after the match.

I only really have one complaint about this show:

Naito looks like a fukking p*ssy right now :francis:

Lost to Okada at the dome

Relegated back to midcard status

Jericho beat his ass leading up to the match.

Jericho beat his ass for 90% of the match & took his belt.

Had to be saved by his lieutenant who's probably gonna be challenging Jericho for the belt next in Evil.

Not sure wherr the hell he goes from here.

It's all part of a "genius plan" breh  :mjlol:

Once again all the people writing fan fiction and narratives to justify the WK decision have gone ghost and will only return when Naito finally gets the strap :heh:

I think he wins G1 and they do Kenny and Naito at the Dome.

I'd like to see Ibushi win G1 though but I can't see Gedo doing that.

I still think Kenny loses the belt before WK, probably to Naito after Tranquilo gives Omega a big L in the G-1, setting up a title defense after the tourney.

Even though I'd love to see Ibushi win the G-1, delaying Naito's coronation kind of trumps it because you can't put Kota in the middle of Tetsuya's journey, specially when Ibushi has another big angle going on (GL reunion and inevitable breakup). I guess you could make it as him trying to avenge Omega and getting the big belt but that's not something I see Gedo booking.

The genius plan:

Have Kenny and Naito be the hottest stars the company has, remove Kenny from the main events, give him a secondary title and do tag stuff for a year, let him cool off with the momentum as a singles guy he had in 2016-2017, give him a random title shot and victory out of the blue because Okada was so starved for opponents he was doing 3rd in line guys from stables.

Have Naito be repeatedly denied his spot at the top of the company for 3 years straight, have him win the title only to immediately lose it back to Okada, cool him off for a year, try to heat him back up only to have him lose to Okada AGAIN, have him get the shyt beaten out of him and his title taken in his first defense by a 50 year old fat Canadian.

Let's not forget how Gedo seemingly took a year off from the slow burn Juice push, continues to make Goto look like the biggest loser possible, took a year off Himoru's push when he was at his hottest, keeps flip flopping the junior title despite all the primaries saying how they want to make the division matter and make the reigns worthy.

Could you imagine if NJPW had a weekly show like Raw that he had to do stories for? :russ:
