Saw the two main events.

Jericho/Naito started out great but it fizzled out towards the end. Didn't think Naito's comeback was that good and the last 5 minutes were kinda all over the place, once Naito botched the Destino he looked lost for a while. Good finish though, more interesting that having Naito just win it, he was put in a different position and lost due to cheating, it's better than random feud n°7 against another guy from the roster.

Main event was what I thought it was going to be. Perfect for the people that have liked/loved their previous matches but just too damn fukking long for me :heh: even the third fall felt like an eternity with them doing such an awesome job selling exhaustion but having to stretch shyt out just to make it longer and "more epic", the last fall had like 6 resets to hammer a point we already knew by that point - they were tired as hell but they wouldn't give up and kept trying to win - which is something both Okada and Omega LOVE to do in their matches, (they beat you in the head with their stories over and over again when they are pretty easy to understand). BUT, they did kept the drama at a high level without having to do a bunch of nearfalls for the ending, the exhaustion was enough for them to not do shyt and have the crowd become more and more desperate about Kenny winning the belt, that was a nice touch. First two falls were the same spotfests as expected, they were cool but too fukking long for no reason, I skimmed through like 15 minutes or more because there was not point on sitting through their back and forth. This type of match is clearly not meant for a fan like me so I can't get mad at it at this point (I knew what I was going to watch) and the people that are fond of this kind of bout love it so :manny: there's no way I'm calling this MOTY, I just can't.

I'll say this though, the match really felt like an anime fight, Kenny "losing consciousness" (or whatever you wanna call it) with his eyes going white after a Rainmaker included. I kinda felt most of the last fall was the "they are moving just by instinct" classic troupe you see in big epic anime fights.

Good decisions on both winners, not only should they see a big spike on ticket sales for the Cow Palace show, but they finally have a couple of interesting places they can go with their most important stars :ehh:

I've hardly seen anyone mention it but Callis called that match like Heenan at the 92 Rumble. Dude sounded like he was gonna leave the table after the 2nd fall when Gedo was stalling.:russ:

Dude was money. :mjlol:

His :gladbron::blessed::krs::banderas:reaction to being asked to call 'All In' was pretty funny too.

I'm with you @Jmare007

I dig Okada and Omega but all their matches have too much padding in them. This feud would have been way better if they didn't go out of their way to try and stretch out their matches for "epicness".

Their second match and this one both felt like they could've achieved the same in half the time.
