It wasn't a diss. I actually like Impact it's generally a solid show but it's also cold. 6-7/10 isn't an insult if you take a look at what else is out there but Impact doesn't have a buzz. No lies were told there. It's a solid show playing out for an increasingly dwindling audience. Guy wanted to know why Impact was doing business with that clown well Joey Ryan has a buzz and that's why they booked him just look at this thread the bulk of the responses are focused on that match and that match alone, nobody's talking about Rich Swann or the knockouts. Callis and D'Amore are probably the right guys at the wrong time. Had Dixie put them in charge going into the decade instead of the whole Bischoff/Hogan thing or had the Carters sold the company to Viacom and these guys had (somehow) been put into power then maybe things would be a lot better but people aren't checking for them. It's the truth.
crazy thing is they didn't need callis and d'amore back then(altho d'amore was there). they just should've avoided the whole bischoff/Hogan thing and kept on doing what they were doing.
but I understood why they were doing it. bringing in Hogan & bischoff brought them their biggest buzz from casuals who beforehand ignore TNA just for the hell of it.
if anything, TNA came at the wrong time, when most "wrestling fans" didn't want other companies to succeed on a major level. nobody to blame there but the so-called fans.
