Bayley in NXT worked since she never won shyt for the longest time. Then they brought her up and shot her straight to the top, and it didn't work.

Knock her all the way down, and let her slow climb back up when people think she'll never win again

What'd be a good storyline for Bayley is recreating Spike and Molly Holly relationship storyline.

Bayley can play the shy/awkward girl well

I'm surprised that we haven't seen a Bayley/Zayn on-screen romance since they're basically the same character, but now that he's on Smackdown...

I imagine they'd blow the roof off with a Bayley/Balor tease. Like, allude to the possibility with him saving her and build the tension innocently.

He could friend-zone her in the end, but have the girls in the crowd on edge begging for it. Cool, handsome, mysterious-looking, nerdy guy with a nerdy girl that's a fan would have the chick fans creaming in their seats and typing fan fics on tumblr.
