It was pretty much what I expected, one of two filler PPVs until All Out, was the greatest PPV ever but it served it’s purpose and I was sports entertained :troll:.

I'm looking forward to Fight for the Fallen. It's being held in an amphitheater. That's going to be a different look than what we're used to for wrestling...interested to see how they set things up for that night.

I'm a fair guy, this was an ok show but far from a great show. However, people do realize this was basically a house show right? This is one of those WWE Network "specials" they be doing and for something of that level and free on B/R then I have to say it was a success.

They furthered some angles most importantly Mox and Omega and I really liked the story telling with Cody and Darby Allin. I think Darby got put over quite a bit and made a name to a more mainstream viewing.

I don't know about Spears getting a go at Cody. I think it's fine for a weekly TV program or something but as a PPV match I wouldn't care about it. Cody sold the chair shot to the dome real well tho. :ehh:

Oh I should mention Nyla/Riho/Yuka was much better than I expected. That Buy In show was not very good at all. They need to do better with the pre show stuff

Yeah at first I was wondering why Cody and Darby were building so slowly, but when it picked up fast towards the end, you could figure out what they were trying to do and it was a really good story. Good way to build Darby up. That bump he took to the edge of the apron was insane.

The pre-show stuff, besides the 3 way tag match, was not great. Nakamura/Jebailey was for the video game card, and they cared. But the constant flickering of the lights during the Dark Order promo was awkward. Leva Bates is just not good, and the Librarian gimmick is just terrible.

The show was good as a whole, and if this is what their TV show is going to be like, I'd be fine with it.

Watched this live last night.

Overall, it was meh.

They need to get that Librarian shyt all the fukking way out of here. It's not funny in any sense, and having that be something on TV is an instant checkout for some people.

I'm really not feeling Nyla Rose. It feels like it's supposed to be a big deal that she hasn't won, and is supposed to be some major threat, but I haven't liked her in either of her matches.

Private Party was awesome. That was my first time seeing them wrestle, and I'm all for seeing more of them.

This Dark Order shyt is corny as fukk. I'm gonna need someone here that's more familiar with them explain why they were popular before. And someone needs to get them a less generic, 12 year old kid from the early 2000s running an all emo stable in an e-fed ass name.

Somehow, Darby Allin and Cody (with Brandi) Rhodes managed to both go full retard. That coffin drop onto the apron was all kinds of stupid. And it was immediately overshadowed by Cody taking an unnecessary unprotected headshot, gimmicked chair or not.

Elite vs Lucha Bros was a really fun match, featured more of their industry best storytelling (:mjlol:), but I got tired of JR's "I'm old" jokes about two minutes in.

Even though I've seen a fair share of deathmatches, watching Moxley stomp thumbtacks into Janela's hands and feet was maybe one of the nastiest things I've seen. Him taking a bow when they chanted "you sick fukk" was pretty good too.

I was thoroughly surprised by Goldenboy on commentary. I was ready to hate that shyt because him paired with the other eSports guy was annoying as fukk. But when the actual show started, he was on point. It made having an announce table with three play by play guys not terrible. I think if they just ran him and Excalibur, they'd be fine.

the match was a comedy , Cornette needs to lighten the fukk up

Cornette needs to realize this isn't 1985 and people won't watch a wrestling show that is completely serious. People that want serious content will watch UFC or boxing.

Sometimes he has good ideas when it comes to storytelling and wrestling logic but he is stuck in the past too much. He is probably best suited to be a wrestling historian than to work for a major company.

AEW needs to find a monster heel. If they could find a big guy that can wrestle it would help the company.

Problem is WWE probably has most of the wrestlers that could fit the role.
