I swear I don’t remember Hangman Page being this good in NJPW. Or maybe I’m tripping. They should def give him a babyface run with the belt n lose it to MJF via cheating of course.

I don't remember Hangman in New Japan having a singles run outside of that G1 he was in

Fun little main event. Omega's beatdown lacked intensity though.

Seems like they're very slowly building storylines and characters with the bubbling Page/MJF feud, Cody/Spears deal, and now the Omega/Moxley mind games as well. Not a transcendent show by any means, but they're moving things along nicely and keeping me interested in everything.

I do think it should have ended after the table stomp. But I really liked this show. My fave match was Darby vs Cody. Reminded me of Jericho vs HHH LMS 2000 in a way.

I'd give the event a 6.5 or 7 out of 10. If I paid for it I would be a little disappointed, but for a free show where I got to see some cool stuff and see some wrestlers I've never seen for the first time I'm okay with it. The last two matches picked up the rest of the show though.

Am I wrong thinking that Brandi vs Allie next month is gonna set up who's gonna be a major contender for whenever they establish the AEW Women's Champion?

With the whole wins and losses mattering gimmick, I'd say Kylie, Nyla (Forgot Riho won) and the winner of Brandi/Allie are in line for the belt.

MJF/Page/Jungle/Havoc, six man tag and Mox/Joey were good. From what I saw of the preshow tag match, that was good as well.

The rest was average. Solid show overall.

Good showcases for Private Party, Nyla, & Jungle Boy even though none of them won. Goldenboy was better than Marvez which is hilarious since as the 3rd guy he did what Marvez did at DON except he actually sounded like someone who cared.

Everything involving Cody was fukking dumb.
