Tonight's AEW Forbidden Door touts a surprise opponent against Zack Sabre Jr.

Bryan Danielson was sidelined from the planned match, as well as AEW Blood & Guts this week. Fightful has been inquiring as to the identity of his replacement. While nobody has explicitly stated a name, we were told that promotional material tied to Blood & Guts featuring former WWE Superstar Cesaro has been produced. Fightful reported Saturday that Cesaro has been actively training in the ring. This is likely the closest to a confirmation we'll be able to gain ahead of the match itself.

Cesaro last competed in February on WWE Smackdown. He did not have a non-compete clause tied to his deal expiring.

In addition to outright leaving town, Johnny Gargano claimed on the record that it would not be him appearing tonight on Forbidden Door.
