I used to think boxing judges were influenced by the crowd but it's clear, these guys are just being paid off. If you're betting boxing, you're better off always picking your spots to bet the favorite unless you handicap a substantial mismatch for the underdog.
Favorites in boxing just have a huge margin for error because they actually don't have to "win" the fight. They get the benefit of the doubt similar to how defensive minded players/teams in the NBA are allowed to foul/grab/pull more often without it being called.
