Thoughts on the PPV:

Overall a good show. Didnt help that I watched the show at midnight, after the NBA finals Game 7 and some postgame though. MITB is basically the 5th major PPV at this point (King of the Ring w/ a ladder) and they treated it as such.

- The Tag title match did look a bit off as most of you said. I like all 4 teams though, but it seemed a step off. Gallows standing there as Anderson was on Big E's shoulder was the weirdest thing. Dude just zoned out. The right team won to help get them to the record. I see them dropping the belts at SummerSlam to The Bullet Club though.
- I didnt understand what the 'Elite' comment was referring to from the New Day. Can someone enlighten me? I usually catch all the pop culture references they spit, but Im missing the boat on this one.
- The E got the filler out the way. Corbin/Ziggler and Crews/ Sheamus were RAW/SD matches on a PPV. I want to like Crews, but im just not seeing it yet. Son is mad athletic, but something isnt catching with the audience. It didnt really catch on with the NXT crowd previously either. The 'E is gonna give him a little push though so we will see what happens. The Crews level cat is the exact guy I was thinking when I say they need to add a European/ TV level title to both shows for this brand split. He isnt close to US/ IC title level, but the crowd needs a little more reason to care about his matches. Ziggler is.... smh, dude is just spinning his wheels right now. He isnt gonna get close to the top again I dont think, and he has run out of backstage broads to run through, so it might be time for him to go.
- The Womens Tag match was just there. For Natalya to flip out over that slight miscommuncation was out of place. That was 10 years of frustration she tried to let out though. And is EVERYONE gonna turn on Becky? If anything, Becky should have turned on Natalya. I think every diva has given Becky the beats, and she hasnt been there a year yet. Literal red-headed stepchild status right now. Opens the door for Charlotte to feud with Paige at the July PPV, and Sasha to come back in the fold for a Charlotte/ Sasha Banks match at SummerSlam
-The Money in The Bank ladder match was good. Everyone got spots in and everyone got messed up. The Michonoku (sp?) driver on the ladder that Owens took looked rough. I missed the Del Rio injury spot everyone was talking about. Overall, I only saw Owens or Ambrose winning, but the match was pretty good.
- Cena/ Styles was a good as it was built up the be. The crowd was into it from the jump, so you know we will be seeing this many times down the line. Vince is gonna milk this thing dry. The ending felt out of place. Cant you give Styles one clean win, Cena? Anyway, the interference gives Cena a reason to bytch and for the rematch to occur. It will probably be on the July PPV and SummerSlam. Great match until the ending though.
- The Rusev/Titus match was just there. I like Titus as a person, but he doesnt have the singles love from the crowd. (Just said that about Crews earlier. I need one of them to break through, or we are screwed for years to come. Our best chance may be Big E. ) Also, did Titus kiss his teenage son in the mouth? WTF? Anyway, Rusev should hold on to that US belt for a while. Great character. Rusev and Titus just dont mesh well though. I hope that they dont have Rusev diss the mans kids and just blow off the fued though. That would be cold blooded. Also, Lana is fine, but she needs to actually do something as ringside. She doesnt yell, doesn't try to interfere, hell, she doesnt even stand on the hard camera side anymore.
- The main event was better then I thought it would be. The 'E really missed Rollins in the ring. The kid can go. Reigns has had great matches since he won the belt. Matched well with Styles and Rollins too. Was surprised that Rollins got the win, and also that Ambrose came and cashed in. I dont think that made much sense. Only thing I can think off is they really want the triple threat at the July PPV since there is no chance that all 3 will be on the same roster after the split. The 'E is always trying to keep us guessing though.

I'm watching the main event right now...halfway through this thing with Roman dominating like this, you would think it was a double turn or something. They're trying to be cute with the commentary saying Roman has improved with Rollins out and that's why he's whooping his ass but it looks like a top face turning heel while the top heel is playing comeback with hope spots.

I just saw that little sissy ref bump..the ref wasn't even down for 5 seconds. WTF...hahahaha...after all of these CRAZY ref bumps in these Austin/Rock/Angle/Taker matches, you thought that deterred from a straight up match? We've seen the ref down like 30 seconds after someone hit their finisher and they have them beat. Ref took like 3 or 4 extra seconds to crawl..that was it. Just like in all of these Cena matches..he hits his finisher and takes a little time before pinning. It's the same semantics.

Special shoutout to Mike Chioda for selling the back pain from the initial bump right until the show's end. Grimacing the entire way

If only certain wrasslers could do the same :wow:

Wow, Cena/AJ was great. Significantly better than any Cena vs Seth/Punk match. I don't think AJ could have been put over harder. The pre-match video had Cena repeatedly saying AJ was better than him, the match had AJ repeatedly showing he was better than him at wrestling/speed/strikes/intelligence, and they said Cena said the only guy he's had as much electricity being in the ring with was Rock. AJ got pushed into orbit last night.

Yes, Cena was a little rusty, and he was so fukking loud with calling his spots, but at the same time, that falls on production as well since that happened multiple times during other matches and they should know better than to keep using the audio coming right next to faces in the ring. Everything on the show up to that was garbage, though.
It's not about production. This is the HD era..Cena is just a stupid performer..that's all. You people are just now noticing something that was obvious back in 2007.
