When Flair cheated, it was because he was getting his ass beat and needed the brass knuckles or the horseman to make sure he retained. When guys pull tights or go for low blows its last ditch effort; its logical storytelling. That wasn't logical other than to make Cena look good while taking the L and continuing the feud
