I’m willing to give Jermall a pass for this fight.

This is going to sound strange. Montiel reminds me of a more defensive version of Navaratte. Where he is super awkward with his defense (and not his offense like Navaraette).

He uses his awkward defense for hard counters. He also has incredible durability and stamina. He had these little movements and weight shifts that would look normal if he was in a more normal boxing stance, yet they look strange even though they produce the same amount of leverage. This is second nature to him, he has been doing this since birth.

A guy with those traits (especially when you add the chin/stamina), is just not easy to train for. Montiel is an intuitive fighter.

Jermall wasn’t hurt, he did get gassed from the output though. No excuses, a KO would have been the preferred method of victory...yet it’s just one fight.

The Sergey win was big. Styles make fights though, I just think Montiel was a strange look.

Yall overexaggerating too much ... he beating the shyt out of dude , its just he's taking the punishment. This dont make Mall food at all ... anytime a fighter misses weight on 1st attempt stamina is going to be an issue

The fukk it wasnt bruh, he shut dude out 12-0 or 11-1 at worst. You cappin hard. Andrade looked bad, Mall just couldn't put dude away. He beat the shyt out of dude and he just kept taking it and walking forward not doing shyt.

:deadmanny::deadmanny::deadmanny: Andrade's last fight played out almost the exact same way. Beat the shyt out of a tough ass Brit that he couldn't get rid of, got caught in one round (and that narrative overshadowed the rest of the fight) and he was weight drained after a long layoff.
