Huge spoiler, don't click, you've been warned.

James Ellsworth looks to be returning to WWE soon, PWInsider.com has learned. There have been several recent creative pitches for Ellsworth to pop up in some capacity and PWInsider.com has confirmed he is slated to be at the WWE Money in the Bank PPV in Chicago.

Ellsworth, 33, was released from the company in November 2017 after a run where he was aligned with Carmella, helping her to become the first female Money in the Bank briefcase holder. He was left laying by Carmella on an episode of Smackdown Live after being soundly defeated by Becky Lynch.

Given that this weekend is Money in the Bank, the most natural possibilities are Ellsworth getting involved in Carmella vs. Asuka or even potentially the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match itself.

Ellsworth made his WWE debut as an enhancement talent to help get Braun Strowman over in the summer of 2016 when a number of talents, including Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose, pushed for him to be signed full-time by the company. Ellsworth was involved with Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles in storylines on Smackdown before turning heel and joining forces with Carmella.

Since his WWE release, Ellsworth has challenged NWA Champion Nick Aldis as a surprise challenger on a Championship Wrestling from Hollywood taping and launched his own Intergender championship belt, setting the stage to work with female competitors on the independent scene.

So Brock isn’t on the card? Not expected to compete until summerslam? shyt, that would make 4 months straight the champ isn’t in the ring and 4 total times he’s defended the title since this past October. 4 title defenses in a 10 month span :laughingphil:. What the fukk is everyone else competing for if the champ isn’t even there and nobody gets any shots at him except Roman?
