I think at first look the card looks underwhelming.... but this is NXT, so they will do much better then expected.

-I would have had Dream/Ricochet be for the North American title. Not sure why you have that title debut in a 5 star ladder match, and then not have it defended on the next Takeover at all. One of these 2 should have won the title in New Orleans.
-Not too sure about Lars, but there arent too many top tier guys available since they moved everyone up.
-Looks like they slid Nikki Cross into this spot as a olive branch for being left behind while the rest of Sanity moved up to SD. Cross can go though so I am feeling this match.
-Ciampa/Gargano at Takeover:New Orleans was a perfect ending to a feud, so it will be interesting to see what they have in store for this time around.

Im hoping for an old school cage match with blood and all at takeover Brooklyn to end this but I hope for too much. This feud is so old school tag team breakup though that I hope it never really has a resolution and is on sight for years to come

During the long list of people who were affected by the Superstar Shake-up, there was also a list of names who were under the "New Arrivals" category. A few of these names include former NXT Tag Team Champions, SAnitY.


Forming in October of 2016, the faction consisted of leader Eric Young, who was joined by Alexander Wolfe, Sawyer Fulton, and Nikki Cross. Shortly after, Fulton was removed from the group and replaced by Killian Dain.

While Young, Dain, and Wolfe were promoted to debut on SmackDown Live, Nikki Cross was not included in the video, signifying that she would not be called up but will instead remain in NXT.

According to The Wrestling Observer, the reason why Cross is staying in NXT is to help with the women's division. Especially, since three of the top names, Ember Moon, Peyton Royce, and Billie Kay, left to go to the main roster. Currently, the champion is Shayna Baszler, as she defeated Ember Moon at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans. Baszler is in need of a strong feud, and Cross will fit well as an opponent for the title.

I don't see the point in unifying the titles. By doing so it would make the entire UK Tournament that happened redundant. They should keep both titles around
