Cody-Solo at MITB


Cody-Orton at Summerslam?

Honestly? I'd run Bloodline vs. Cody/Orton/KO at MITB... and I'd have Solo pin Cody, as clean as the parameters of the match will allow.

This is a personal opinion, but the one issue I have with Cody's reign is that given his journey to the top of the mountain and all the near superhuman stuff he's done along the way -- beating Seth with half a chest in HIAC, beating Brock 2/3 times, once with a broken arm -- it's hard for me to fully invest in what he's doing as champion because I can't suspend disbelief enough to where I can consider the thought of him losing the title.

However, of the three matches Cody has actually been pinned in since returning to WWE ... Solo has been the determining factor in two of them. There's a history there.

Run the six-man tag at MITB, and have Solo go over to establish him and his group as a serious threat and to actually cast doubt that Cody is gonna keep this train rolling because Solo has been shown to kind of have this man's number.

Cody prevails over Solo at Summerslam clean, where the Bloodline Civil War II seeds get planted.

However, I think the Rock actually suffered an injury while filming not too long ago and I have no idea how long it may keep him out. Apparently, it's nothing major though.

I don't give a fukk about Rock vs Cody. We all know the story is going to be something stupid, like in 1991 Dusty told Rocky than one day his son will beat his son.

There is absolutely no reason to think they're splitting Jade & Bianca as a team
Like at all
They've teased no tension between them
They didn't get pinned
They didn't lose to like any type of miscommunication or anything
So why is everyone assuming they're splitting them?

We don’t know if they’ve split…….but

I’d prefer if they did split, it’s obvious they paired them up to cover for jade’s inexperience. If she’s comfortable in the ring to carry a match then split them up. otherwise the longer they stay together one of em eventually becomes the Marty.

I just got finished watching and I see all hell broke done broke loose in here over Jade and Bianca’s match.


This was a blunder on HHH and quite honestly he has his fair share of bad booking decisions. He went full Tony Kahn here. A triple threat tag team match was unnecessary. Jade is out of her element in that style of match. There’s too much going on at one time and then the match becomes convoluted. The botch was bad but not one of the worst ones I’ve seen and she somewhat salvaged it.

Even if Jade and Bianca didn’t take the pin…it still feels like they did. From my understanding Frye had a death in her family….i understand giving her team the win in their hometown as a good gesture but they’re not over in the states or anywhere else right now. Cutting the legs off of Bianca and Jade’s title reign this early seems pointless but I digress.


The Bayley/Piper match was a stinker and not because of Bayley


Cody vs AJ and Gable vs Sami were good wrasslin.


‘97 Drew vs Priest was the match of the night for me and the ending was perfect with Punk interfering.


I was sold on Damien Priest before this match but he’s main event level now. It’s unfortunate that Gunther gonna take his spot but it’s his time now to be champ.

I kind of figured that Drew wasn't going to win once Gunther got an opportunity for the title. Great fight by Priest and toughing it out. Just feel bad for Drew, doing all this losing and he will lose in the Punk feud too, only way great would be if he breaks every body part of CM Punk and wins at Summerslam.

He's the biggest Babyface draw they've had in decades but you'll keep on spouting about how fans will "turn on him"

Ehh, I guess losing in your home country pushes the Punk/Drew feud. But SS is 2 months away, so I wonder how they can keep Drew looking like a pissed off monster.

I feel like given all the injuries, plus so many women in tag teams, that they don't seem to have enough to cover all 3 divisions. Raw, SD, and tag champs.

Alba and Isla obviously a tag team but often they just throw people together like Bianca and Jade, Shayna and Zoey, Chelsea and Piper. I doubt Bayley defends until SS.

Liv had the cage match with Becky but i don't think she has any real competition over on Raw. Unless they waiting for Rhea to come back since they just have her messing with Judgement Day and Dom, and with Buddy possibly injured, who's to say Rhea may not choose to take a bit more time off at least until SS, that's if she's cleared by then.

They need to either split teams up or let the women go between brands to give a variety of matches and challengers.
