All 10 — yes, 10! -- TV fighters for tomorrow night’s Showtime Championship Boxing broadcast have made weight for their fights, so the full card on both Showtime (9 p.m. ET) and Showtime Extreme (7 p.m. ET) is good to go.
In the junior welterweight main event, both Ruslan Provodnikov (25-4, 18 KO) and John Molina Jr (28-6, 23 KO) came in at the limit of 140 pounds. Both are coming into the fight off of wins over tune-up opponents. Before that, Molina lost three straight to Lucas Matthysse, Humberto Soto, and Adrien Broner, and Provodnikov lost to Matthysse.
In a WBC junior middleweight title eliminator, Demetrius "Boo Boo" Andrade (22-0, 15 KO) and Willie Nelson (25-2-1, 15 KO) weighed in at their fight’s limit of 154 pounds.
In a vacant WBC lightweight title fight, Dejan Zlaticanin (21-0, 14 KO) will meet Franklin Mamani (21-2-1, 12 KO). Zlaticanin weighed in at 134 pounds, one pound below the limit, and Mamani came in at 133½.
On Showtime Extreme, middleweights Willie Monroe Jr (19-2, 6 KO) and John Thompson (17-2, 6 KO) look to bounce back from losses in world title fights in a 10-round bout. Monroe weighed in at 160, with Thompson at 159.
And in a heavyweight fight also on Showtime Extreme, Andrey Fedosov (28-3, 23 KO) weighed in at 225½ pounds, with Mario Heredia (13-1, 11 KO) at 286.
