I don't think 115-113 scores were bad scores. Going into the 12th I told myself whoever won that round would win that fight. I had Taylor up the first 3 rounds, and then rounds 4-9 were very close rounds. Taylor would start well, but Teofimo would close. Teofimo clearly took off round 10, but dominated rounds 11 and 12. The 12th round took him home. I agreed with 115-113.

Taylor def won 4-5 rounds.

Even with that said the fight wasn’t close at all, even when Taylor was landing clean power shots, his pillow fists had zero effect.

while every time teo landed you could tell he was hurting Taylor.

Gary Antoine and Regis would give him more problems.. Taylor ran outta gas quick as hell he was on teo ass at first then faded fast. Teo proved me wrong tho had a couple cheap bets on teo being stopped in random rounds
This is what really happened, imo. Taylor ran out of gas by round 5. His legs were not there by mid fight. He started off dominating and then by round 5 the tide had completely changed. Also those body shots took their toll, which is ironic bc Taylor started off the fight landing great body shots.

If he won 4-5 rounds, it's at best 7-5/115-113, and at worst 8-4/116-112. So what do you mean? It was a close fight to me because, again, Taylor started just about every round strong but Teo would finish them stronger. Both landed flush shots. It wasn't until the 9th did I actually believe Teo was going to win, and even then I knew Teo needed the 12th to take it home. This wasn't corruption or an attempted robbery. This was a very close fight that Teofimo pulled out.

Scottish fans were so annoying tonight that I almost ended up rooting for Teo, bout a half a dozen got thrown out of my section before the fight was even halfway over. After tonight the Cattaral fight wasn't an aberration, Taylor is good but he's clearly not elite. Begrudgingly give props to Teo, he's now got clear and decisive wins vs both Loma and Taylor, who were #1 at 135 and 140 when he fought em. The Kambosos loss is a stain but those are good scalps on his resume, none of that vacant belt shyt.
I don't think you can say Taylor isn't elite, with the resume he has. He clearly has regressed and his body is giving up on him due to the weight cutting to make 140. Not only that but Taylor loses focus a lot, and he lets other fighters get in his head. You can literally see Josh lose confidence in his fights, and when he loses confidence he doesn't know how to compose himself and get back to the game plan. I saw it in the catterral fight and now the Teofimo fight. Basically I'm saying that Taylor is a once elite fighter who has regressed and whose body is giving up on him, and who has been beaten because he lacks a certain mental focus when things arent going his way.

People saying Taylor isn't top calibre are kidding themselves.

At his best he is/was a ridiculously big 140 that could pick people apart with clean, sharp 3 punch combinations and embarrass the opponent.

I'm not saying we have to like him, he seems like an arrogant, affiliated tough guy to me, but saying Taylor wasn't extremely high calibre is disingenuous. He was undisputed ffs.
