Yeah around the 3rd he started bouncing around and using the jab and keeping good distance. He wasn't letting Povetking get close like that. Against Ruiz it was like he was going through the motions like you said. nikka couldn't be bothered or some shyt.

Ruiz was pushing him back and then countering everything sharply. You can't be sloppy with a guy like that.

I swear I saw in the povetkin fight his jab man.....it paid off there when it was to the body but it looked like he was just goin through the motions sometimes. And not the pawing jab wlad has where he can just explode. He looked slow. Idk whats up he had no head control of ruiz to blind him when he come in, didn't frame or nothing....etc

as for the fight, i have to watch it again, but to quote ray arcel, sometimes when a guy gets hit, they sort of stay hit. he didnt mean just for the rest of a fight. he means forever.

I agree with you, but I think Wilder KO's Ruiz. Styles make fights like you said and Wilder is pretty good at keeping his distance and staying aggressive. Ruiz's short arms will have trouble counter punching Wilder when Wilder keeps him on the end of those punches.

Wilder can’t box, cant counter, he literally just has a basic 1-2. If AJ is one dimensional than Wilder is DEFINITELY one dimensional

I will say if Ruiz gets hit he might be done. But if you look at how AJ got him down it was an uppercut hook type combo. Wilder doesn’t throw that shyt

But if he gets hurt he’s done. Same for Ruiz. Even with them short ass arms, ruiz boxes his way inside and Wilder doesn’t nearly jab enough

possible but klitschko seemed to do it better. David haye was lost against him. I guess it was more he was better in the clinch

Wilder backfoot game is average but he knows how to use his length an athleticism much better. Plus his footwork is way better than AJ's so dudes don't crowd him as fast. Him drawing you in for the big right hand pretty much gives him a reason not to box on the back foot since he steps in anyway once your lined up for that final fade.

Joshua can't bully you without a jab. Dude too much of a target to be standing in front of you not doing anything. Ruiz lit him up with Ultra instinct combos because of it.
