I guess the Jinder change was a last minute move and with AJ in the main event and (I assume) Cena already attending the event to referee, they had him wrestle instead.

Whatever angle they had him for they can now do in the actual elimination match?

Something happened over the last two weeks where everything changed

Cena was supposed to be the ref..canceled
AJ was on Team Smackdown..canceled.

Now he's not the ref and in the match and Styles vs Lesnar happens.

Then we got Nattie vs Bliss booked..but now Charlotte is getting a title shot next week. Remains to be seen.

Roman and the shield aren't on Team Raw and get punked by the New Day to lose the belts to the Bar..Who now are facing the Usos instead.

Everything got shuffled up over the last two weeks.

This is what sucks about the brand split because ideally this should be a series. New Day wins the first, Shield the second, and then they end with a gimmick match (personally, I'd pick TLC).

As is, because this is the Shield's real reunion, they'll win and the whole thing will be pushed aside. Best we can hope for is that New Day looks strong.

yeah id rather they just have a lengthy promo battle at Survivor Series and have it end with both stables challenging each other at "Clash of Champions"
