idk but when i look at the g-unit situation, it seemed like everybody was UNDER 50, and with MMG, it seems like everybody is really riding side by side, if u understand what im saying..
and that may not have even been 50's intentions, but for whatever reason, thats how it appeared, and i think game & buck may have felt like that too
yea, supposedly this was the issue with game, according to henchman. ross & meek is how 50 & game shouldve been.
at the end of the day, i feel like the rapper-owned labels are both a gift and a curse. for every great memory that these labels provided, theres a rapper whose career was hindered because of the fact that these labels basically have a clergy system.
at the end of the day, the one that signs that checks is gonna be seen as the man on 90% of these labels, no matter how much better the music is by some of his artists. as great as rocafella was, it couldve surpassed death row if it was owned by just dame & biggs, with jay being just an artist.
