I find it very hard to believe he's as "broke" as he's saying but at the same time he's not hiding 100 million from the feds. He's likely got money in his side businesses but I'd guess in the range of 30-40 million. Between what he owes Sleek and Ross' baby mother even if he was $100m in liquid, peeling off damn near a fifth of your money is a HUGE, HUGE hit. I don't care how rich you are. You think Warren Buffett wants to pay $20m without a fight? No no no no. Hell no.

i honestly don't care either way, just in the thread to learn some about how finance works in the USA
my opinion keeps going back and forth on wether or not he lost all his money, whether or not he's hiding money illegally, whether or not he protected his assets since way back (some legal ways to do this so that he could technically be worth 4.4 mill on paper), whether or not he perjured himself, etc. only he (and his accountants) know for sure.

You're right. I was kind of thinking he'd be able to do like those vegas residency type shows. Most of his music won't age well but idk I think In Da Club and Magic Sticky type songs he'll be able to do for an older crowd someplace like Vegas. Probably wrong though. That said though the name 50 Cent is still huge and probably will be for the rest of his life. He's too much of a personality and a name for him to ever truly fade away. If he retired for like 10 years I could see him going on tour and doing some big comeback arena tour. All of us who listened to him during our teens and twenties will have grown flabby and sick and washed and probably love to hear that shyt again. Like my parents when they went and saw Janet, bringing back memories, seeing a once superstar type thing.
