Fifty turned this shyt into a monologue, just kept speaking with little room for them to ask questions. With that said a lot of game dropped lol.

I'm saying :dead:

I've been around rich folk and ask them for game n they do the same shyt; just talk in circles saying nothing :pacspit:
That’s cause there is no game to give, 🤫. The only real game is, who you know will always get you farther than what you know. The right relationships are everything in the “get rich” business, outside of random half court shots and hail marys and shhit. Be smart and driven and disciplined and all that blah blah…but work on your people skills and networking before anything, friends help friends…you can work your way to the top too but that’s the scenic route lol, that’s the long way, pause.

This was definitely a “safe” interview in the sense that no new ground was broken. It’s how hosts tend to be with guests who are power players (Jay, 50, formerly Diddy) or if they land a big fish artist who rarely grants interviews with Hip-Hop outlets (Ye, Drake, etc.) The interviewer is happy just to have the person for the views & exposure the show will draw as a result.

Interview was cool though. 50 always has a nice gem or two. I guess I expected him to be a little less guarded with Gill & Wallo since they’re all from the same era in terms of venturing into Hip-Hop + from the street element on some level. Thought maybe we’d get a story or two we never heard before.

I'll give Wallo credit for following up on questions and trying to keep narratives straight. The exact opposite of what you'd get with Nore for instance. But 50 is all over the place. You see this a lot with successful dudes being interviewed who are so focused on being insightful or demonstrating their genius that they just sound scatterbrained.

At one point 50 admits he was never the best rapper, he simply understood how to package everything. I would love for someone to ask if he takes the same approach to television, where his shows are constantly low quality in terms of acting/writing/budget/etc yet somehow popular with a certain demographic. It's basically well packaged slop for black and Hispanic people.

This joint was like every other 50 interview, what are yall talking about? 😂😂, there was nothing extraordinarily off or different here…just more background noise and shhit like that because they’re at the Humor Harmony thing. 50 always talks like that
