When "50 wrote your whole first album" turns into just "the most important parts"
The narrative was never about 50 writing his verses. It was that he gave him songs that would have otherwise been on his projects.
Rappin all the live long day with no structure or hit making ability is why he had to be put with 50 in the first place, no?

50 never said he wrote any of games verses.
he said he wrote the song, meaning he had the beat, he had da hook, and he had da vision for the record.
so all game had to do was plug and play, write his verses, which is his strength. game cant write hooks for shyt, especially back then. if you gave him that beat alone with no hook or vision, dis woulda been a classic game mixtape track with 100 bars and no hook lol and i like game way more than 50

Being able to do hooks and bridges is a big part of what makes a good songwriter/artist. If you routinely take skeletons of songs, essentally remix them and add verses here and there, it ain't really 'your' music like that.
I remember listening to Church For Thugs when the album came out thinking "50 must've wrote this"
Don't know how Game had the audacity to fall out with 50 when he gave him all those tracks. Documentary is still his best album

he's arrogant with his responses too from like a year ago when i first contacted him but he's a storage wars hunter that managed to bid and buy a bunch of dr dre studio items up for auction. he doesn't know really what value he's sitting on nor does he have the studio items to convert DATs and reels into FLAC, he's just overcharging for everything given that the dr dre vault is pretty sealed <- summarizing what he wrote

man Game was randomly dissing murder inc from the gate and listeners back then were just rolling with it, he'll probably walk back that line if he had a chance to get ashanti on a hook, but it's probably not going to happen given how many bridges he burnt along the way, even if it's even just another remake like most rap songs trying to recapture that nostalgia

I remember an interview from those days where he said he recorded hundreds of songs for the Massacre. If there are versions of certain songs with three verses instead of two, and more unreleased heat like The Way we Came up
Definitely like the final version more but game using references is a L considering all the shyt he was poppin off about ghostwriting
When I was a kid it was my favorite song on the album. Haven't revisited to know if it still is
