The guy is a sociopath and has built a reputation off being one since he came into the game. His entire career is just trolling people and if you look at where his rap career is now that's a result of that. People find his antics momentarily entertaining but he never really built a fanbase that actually liked him and if he dropped an album today it probably wouldn't do so hot.

Some people need to learn the value of being silent. Knowing when to shut up isn't being fake. He could have just said nothing about this, it didn't require him commenting on it. He didn't really gain anything with his comment but some people just can't stop themselves.
