The main point is that your worth in that Industry isn't determined by your words but your ability to generate revenue. Dame hasn't done that since RocaFella broke up. DDMG didn't,the creator space he opened didn't,He had deals with Currensy,Black Keys,DZA,Stalley etc, but managed to fukk each and every
one of those deals up. Soured his relationship with Ye,Cam fell back and so forth. If he was able to continue to make money the criticism as far as his mercurial demeanor would been called something else then a$$hole or loudmouth narcissist,there are a lot of Dame Dash's in the industry,they just make money where he couldn't keep up with his ego and do the same

Dame’s ego couldn’t handle the Roc break up but he STILL had some industry credibility since he had distribution for DDMG — and some money.

Yeeeeeeears ago I went to a DDMG listening event for Beanie’s album (while he was locked up) since Beanie went with Dame.

The reality is Dame should’ve fell back for a couple of years after the split and pivoted. But he loved the camera, the attention and an opportunity to talk big shĩt — and only got away with it because of Jay. You can’t run a business like that and in an industry of “deals” where you just wait on checks and for music to hit, your deal can dissolve in a few months. And people can simply be instructed to not deal with you.

Irv is different because of the production credits he has. Irv will get paid forever off the music he's made.

But even as of recently he was getting money with his TV show "tales" and other projects.

Even without production I bet he would be better off than Dame

Irv got hella bread for selling Murda Inc. Masters......Dame had that opportunity, he just a dummy that got left behind by his business partners and blew his bread.
