Em didnt come after Wanksta. Wanksta debuted on the No Mercy No Fear mixtape which came out after the Shady deal was already announced (Check the intro). They put it on the 8 mile soundtrack a few months later to create more of a buzz

Diddy, Dee and Wah and Em all were bidding for 50 at the same time. Ems offer wasn't even the best but fif saw more potential in exploiting ems fan base. Fif had a solid buzz before Em. But signing with Em and Dre was the difference between plat and diamond. Can see why he loves Dre and Em and he has given Nas props but since the central park incident he was not fukkin with him like that for a long time so wasnt biggin him up often.
