I mean.. shyt is what it is

I fukk with Post and Six9ine. Six9ine isn’t white though.

Logic seems corny to me but he shouldn’t be listed. Logic is black.

Maybe you could list G Eazy instead.

TYRONE GA!
Lol at blaming Atlanta....

When mufukkaz started intentionally crossing over and watering down the music for radio play this was inevitable. There was a reason crossing over and going pop was frowned upon

Corporations (cacs n joos) taking over who want sales over anything and would sign anyone that could come up with a hit also set today's environment. They can now manufacture rap artists just like pop ones.

There wasn't a major divide between mainstream and underground but that changed around the mid 90s with majors completely taking over the game. They always ruin shyt.

I am thankful that at least you can find a lot of dope underground shyt now more than ever and you don't need the major labels and machine to find good shyt.

shyt is just glorified pop with created artists and clowns with no real skill outside a few on majors. Radio is still a joke.

It wasn’t really rocket science though. It happened already with Rock

We made the same mistake with Rock. We’re the act, entertainment, not the owners and distributors of what we’re creating.

It was destined to happen formally but the seeds were planted a long time ago.

Rock was diferent,it wasn't culturally based,or culturally bias in our favor really. Theres nothing that really keeps a white man from being able to do Rock N Roll as authentically as any black man.

Where hiphop comes from, and the black pride it is based on,there were solid walls and defenses set up that didn't make it as accesible as Rock.

Black artist in the genre abandoned that to quote on quote "expand their brand",and in doing so dropped those safe guards to be more digestible to euros.

This is a situation where the vampires couldn't come in unless they were invited.Rappers practically begged them to come in to get a bigger check:martin:.

None of this sounds real anymore.

Mmember back in like 05 or 06, we had music in the mainstream that felt like it was in tune with the culture?

Now ... i just dont know anymore man.
Yeah man, ppl were so in tune with the culture in 05 06 that they recognised that hiphop is dead
