Here's a Post game quote from Patrick acknowledging who he is.

So there's that. We've had 8 Black QB's Start in the Super Bowl. Also all the media has been reporting on this being "THE YEAR OF THE BLACK QB".

Doug Williams
Steve McNair
Donovan Mcnabb
Russell Wilson (x2)
Colin Kapernick
Cam Newton
Patrick Mahommes II

Welcome to the Club Patrick. The amazing thing is no Black QB every got "Blown out" in the Super Bowl. Mcnair lost by an inch, Mcnabb lost by 3 Points to Brady and a Dynasty, Russell lost a back to back ring on the goaline pick. Colin lost by 3 points also on the goaline for the win (Put up more points than Jimmy G). Cam had the worst lost for a Black QB sadly, he lost 14 but not a blowout though. But Doug, Russell and now Patrick bring the overall record to 3-5.

that’s that. :hubie:

Hope he keeps that same energy . And I still feel like the media isn’t hyping the “black” angle .

but :salute: to him for coming out and saying that .

I’m happy as hell the Chiefs turned that around. Mahomes coulda been waking up today with everyone calling him a choke artist and what not. Literally the opposite. Happy for Andy Reid too. That fat muhfukka just seems like a good human. Kyle Shanahan got some issues. Dude needs to find some alternative treatment type shyt to help. Maybe get hypnotized or something

The Cheifs are weird man. They could be down 30 with a qtr or qtr and half left and still win the game by 20 points. They won all 3 playoff games being down double digits. That has to be an NFL Record. It's like Andy be mad conservative and then he just let's Patrick loose. Man when Patrick gets hot he's unstoppable, seriously. Looking at Patrick's numbers seems like he had an average game but that 4th Quarter performance will be considered Classic. Honestly Kyle got way to timid and comfortable with that lead like in the Falcon/Pats Superbowl. Also Jimmy G seems like more of a game manager to me. I'm not saying that's a bad thing but you could tell something was off with him near the end. The point is even up 10 with 6-7 minutes is not a strong enough lead against Andy and Patrick's Chiefs. They were down 24-0 to Houston and won the game scoring 51 points.
