There are. But truth is the black community isnt the only community thats divided. Many are divided across nationalities and in other ways (political etc)and when you break it down like that they sometimes dont have the numbers or the leadership to make things happen.

Also you have to factor in the fact that some of them come from where police brutality IS the norm and some of these incidents are looked upon as "well that's how things go when you get arrested". American's standard point of view on police and government isnt the same everywhere else.Sure you have the few rebels and the americanized ones who will make some noise here and there but thats about it.

As a former San Diego resident of 17 years i can honestly say the majority of the the Latino community didn't give a fukk about nikkas. They are just as bad as whites when it comes to equal employment and opportunities. Racist as fukk towards nikkas and then have the nerve to constantly talk shyt about nikkas in front of your face in Spanish. shyt i im bilingual and that shyt would me have dropping ether on a daily basis when i was in my early twenties. Anyways, it's so annoying and selfish how anytime black people stand up for ourselves and start making strides everyone else wants to leech off us. They're never around to fight the brutality we face, never around for the hardworking we put in, and never help us out where it really counts but are ready to take advantage of anything we gain.

Overall I think they are just afraid of dropping down the totem pole. They don't think white supremacy will end and they are afraid of switching places with us no longer being at the bottom. Hence why they only bring up these issues when we bring attention to ours. God forbid we rise and they get left behind. And this mainly goes to those mestizo and white Latinos and other non-blacks. I know there are black Latinos that are going through it and are being discriminated in the Latino community heavily, but of course non-black Latinos like to overlook that.
