Are the police departments heavily Latino in these areas?

No, most police departments are majority white. I seriously think policemen should get elected like any other official, and be required to live in the community they serve.

This aint the Oppression Olympics. I think in general blacks are getting tired of other folks piggybacking off of our movements every time some tragedy happens. Get your own lane use your own voices. We as a people have historically been inclusive and empathetic to EVERYONE elses struggle, then they get on and leave us in the dust. We care that yall are under fire, but right now most black folks i know is focused on us.

Dont get me wrong.. ive seen the profiling and everything, probably not as bad as you being in LA. SJPD can be pretty trigger happy, and there have been plenty of cases where they appeared to unjustly shoot a suspect. So i'm not saying theres no fight to be had, its just that people can't point to any police shooting and shout about injustice when in some cases, the suspect gives them a cause.

There has to be credibility in what the people are fighting against.

They can't lump all of these police killings together...If you have a gun, are acting erratic, already pulled the trigger on yourself, like the dude here in San Jose, they are going to shoot you. If you have a knife and are in a threatening position, they are going to shoot you. There are still issues with racial profiling, but these issues cannot be lumped together.

When you have video of black men in non threatening positions, getting shot and killed... i don't get why people don't see the difference.
