I know Canelo really wanted to make the Yildirim fight in Mexico, but was unable to due to COVID.

Being that there's no way he forgoes the September 16 date, he might stage a stay busy fight in Mexico depending on how Mexico recovers from the pandemic.

Absolute best case scenario -- he fights Andrade in September and Plant in December.

But I think if the plant fight falls through they would start exploring Spence very seriously. I would rather see spence stay at 147 and then clear out 154. But it almost seems inevitable this fight will happen eventually, whether people like it or not. Canelo is finally off dazn. Spence is begging for him. Canelo already said he's open to it. And it would be one of the biggest events in boxing history. It's just too much money for all parties to ignore. Guarantee Al haymon is seeking that fight out much harder than a Crawford fight. I mean canelo vs saunders just broke the all time record for an indoor boxing event. shyt was massive. A canelo vs Spence fight for sure does the full 80k at cowboy stadium. It would be the hottest ticket in the world.
