I don't believe that. Look at Canelo's recent fights since GGG 2. He's been coming in with the same gameplan of trying to take dude's heads off. I don't see why BJS would be any different regardless of trash talk.

the only thing that may save his career is the fact he didnt get touched on his eye again after the upper cut...hes going to be out for at least a year minimum.. .but he is looking at multiple surgeries depending on if the eye itself got damaged or any nerves

You could actually see that his eye was caved inward the second it landed. Looked gruesome as fukk. When he lifted his face and you seen the eye for the first time it was.....looked completely different from the Kell Brook injury where his shyt started swelling outwardly. Saunders shyt looked completely sunken in

Can’t go about trying to get a Canelo fight the way Lara did YEARS ago. That Canelo needed something to prove and rebuild himself following that Floyd loss. This Canelo is made. Boo Boo gotta go about it like a fukking professional and businessman. Be willing to do a 90/10 split type shyt. Have your damn locker room in the damn parking lot. Basically give Canelo w/e the fukk he want to make the fight.

The thing that I really marvel at with Canelo is how patient he is. Like, there’s no panic or hurry at all: even when he fought Kovalev I was like go, go, go! But, he was taking his time and when that one opportunity presented himself, he capitalized. He fought BJS like he knew he was going to catch him and he did. Just supreme confidence and patience. Even when he had him hurt he wasn’t going all out. It was basically, “lemme give you this fade, but there’s more rounds so I’m going to chill.”
Also, some of y’all are doing the same shyt that white people used to do Floyd. Anyone he fights and beats y’all immediately turn another muhfukka into a boogeymoon. It’s been everybody from GGG to BJS to Callum Smith to Jacobs and so on. Now, it’s Andrade who I’m sure is a cool dude, but I saw him gas in 6 rounds and struggle against a Universal Studios ride operator a few weeks back. If/when they fight and Andrade losses it’ll be someone else in the division or above. Until it’s “why don’t Canelo move up to heavyweight? Roy did it?!?!”
Dude is just a great fighter. Accept the shyt. Your life will be easier.

I'm tired of everyone making excuses for all these fighters sitting around at 160-168. If your name isn't Caleb Plant, go and make a meaningful fight so that you can actually be next up.
Instead we gotta watch Andrade fight the likes of Liam Williams or Charlo fight Montiel. You wanna talk about bad for boxing, how about these guys, who could've easily become prime attractions in boxing, not doing shyt for a majority of their careers.
Then folks wanna act like it's Canelo's fault they ain't popping. shyt is pitiful man. Canelo fought 3 times in six months, and is slated to fight Plant in September. That's 3 undefeated world champions in a 10 month period!! He's doing shyt in 10 months that these other dudes won't do in their careers.

There's a similar one against Jacobs at the bell of the 1st or 2nd round after he dodged like 10 punches.
What I’ve learnt in that fight is Canelo all round is a monster - an elite boxer puncher. But he is beatable you just have to be elite at either of those attributes or as good in both, but he is so good now, he is becoming a rare breed. Elite boxer like Mayweather and an elite puncher like GGG gave him trouble. But after that, who else? Only person who is as well rounded as him in my opinion is Spence. But weight wise it won’t work. Otherwise Beterbiev is his hardest challenge. Canelo would have to box circles around him. Charlo is also interesting but Canelo will likely outbox.
