Eventually hating on Canelo will get old. Dude is embarrassing undefeated elite level boxers.

You have to give BJS his props for continuing to take risks after feeling Canelo's power, as well as not going down after that uppercut. However, once he landed a few power jabs and started ducking after his combo's that was it. Canelo threw a full power uppercut to the body at like 1:50 in RD8, BJS blocked it and still got sent back a few feet. Twas only a matter of time before BJS herky jerky style and bravado caught up to him. Probably a round or two earlier than I expected.

Canelo's trainers deserve insane props for what they've done with him. Truly turned him into a monster. How do you game plan for a dude like Canelo who has a granite chin and wants to fight? He also is affecting his opponents with blocked shots. I don't see anyone 168 or under beating him. IDK about 175 cause the power gap is pretty big, but we'll see.

Roy summed it up nicely. Said saunders won maybe 2 rounds. He still competed and made canelo work. But for the most part he wasn't doing shyt but landing a few jabs here and there. Canelo was landing the serious blows all night.

That's when the "he doesn't deserve the fight, he just wants a payday homes" argument goes out the window. I guarantee that the majority of his fans never watched BJS before last night.

Golovkin, smith and saunders actually had large fan bases. Andrade don't have shyt except a few hundred online fan boys


And Fielding was a showcase fight after coming off a war with golovkin. Wasn't nothing but a victory lap fight. We all knew that. Those are the type of fights you EARN after coming off great fights. Something Andrade has never done yet his whole fukkin resume is built off Rocky Fielding level opponents. It's funny how you sit here and ignore that though......Talking about challenges but won't dare criticize Andrade for never taking a challenge in his ENTIRE career. shyt. If I'm Andrade, I'm asking for my release ASAP after watching my promoter all It's obvious that Hearn is hindering Andrade from getting good fights because he's done the same with Farmer and Whyte

Hearn isn't hindering Andrade from shyt. Dude is a clown who's been bum hunting his whole career. Pulled out of a Charlo fight one week before the fight happened. Ducked Lara when he had the chance to fight. Andrade has never taken a risk his whole career. He been with like 5 different promoters and couldn't get a good fight done. A fight is 12 rounds and it doesnt matter if somebody is potentially ahead if they are not finishing the 12th

Nelo grants fights to the deserving. Hustle hard and youll get rewarded

So how does Canelo's opponents rank in terms of difficulty in his post GGG career? I think it's something like this

1 - Jacobs
2 - Kovalev
3 - BJS
4 - Smith
5 - Yildirim
6 - Fielding

Jacobs and Kovalev could be the most competitive, but Kovalev was mostly just coasting then got brutally stopped, Jacobs actually made it competitive. BJS was game but losing on the cards then immediately retired once his eye been busted. Smith wasn't competitive at all maybe won 1-2 rounds top but hasn't been knocked out like Yildirim and Fielding who were really just filler fights for Canelo. Don't even feel right to say one did better than the other but let's say Yildirim did a bit better, cause he wasn't floored left and right in the first 2 rounds like Fielding.

IMO, Kovalev cant be #2, he wanted no parts ofthat fight and was just pumping the jab to pump up his punch count. There was 0 power and 0 will behind his punches.
