I felt like the judges cards were on point here, commentators gave way too much credit to BJS in some rounds for simply not being beaten up but Canelo still landed most of the effective shots

6-2/5-3 Canelo sems about right to me, I think a 4-4 is very generous to BJS and he was done by the end of the 8th

canelo did what he had to do, but billy joe was giving him problems. i know damn well andrade, charlo and benavidez wouldn't go out like that. canelo still can't really handle movement but billy joe just didn't have the power to keep him off.

i'm intrigued to see the plant fight but i feel like plant fades late. very good fight and congrats to canelo on a hard fought win. canelo offensive punch arsenal is dope, that was a great punch and adjustment to see bjs keep his head low and its open to the counter. very enjoyable fight today, i'm glad canelo had at least a competitive fight but them scores was too wide.
