Canelo beat Ryder to the point he's prolly never gonna be the same again. Who else in the division could beat Ryder like that?....broke his nose. Destroyed his body. Dude could barely even stay on his feet. He survived off pure heart. it's obvious canelo still got the power. He also showed a decent workrate. The only thing that concerns me is the fall off in speed. That's really it. If he still had his speed nobody could beat him.
David still lunges all over the place and leaves himself wide open to counters. And even though canelo did looks slower he did have some nice bursts of speed here and there. That's how he broke Ryder's nose. He can definitely catch David coming in with the right hand. Benavidez still hasn't been tested by a guy with good power.

another thing i noticed, that you pointed out a few fights ago, is his head hunting. He still a bit "in love" with that now. While i get it last night, cause he was gunning for that KO, I thought his body work was great but kinda went away from it as the fight went on

Yea. He was landing some vicious body punches that were clearly hurting Ryder. But after he dropped him he started going for the head. But the body work early was impressive. And we know David's body is soft. This is still a 50-50 fight no matter what anybody says. The plant fight exposed a lot of David's flaws. Especially defensively.

Yup and when we look back on the non British fighter victories that people will make counter arguments for, we have a well past his prime Cotto and Mosley. I’m not going to take all his victories away like I said before. But he took on these guys even after an older Mayweather demolished them. I don’t have him beating a in his prime Cotto. You could combine GGG, Charlo, Andrade, Benevidez, Plant, et al. resumes together and they STILL wouldn’t equate to what Canelo had done and who he’s fought. None of them dudes would have fought Floyd at a catch weight. None of them dudes would move up and fight a naturally bigger man in Bivol, lose, and be talking about they want another fade. Hell, Betriebiev acts like he doesn’t know who Bivol is and he a champion is his damn division. He doesn’t even want to fight him.

Stop it. He looked fukking horrible last night. Almost worse than the GGG fight. The guy is overrated period and has been his whole career. He doesn’t even fight other Mexicans.
