it's mostly that it makes the backstage of the show not seem like a bunch of separate zones interconnected by the vacuum of space or whatever. Now it feels like a physical place and not a phantom zone that only exists for awkward conversations, watching TV while stood parallel to the TV, and obvious fight setups, while the rest of the space is made up entirely of Clangy Poles(tm)
