When I think of guys who could go with anyone, I think of guys like Regal, 2 Cold Scorpio, Angle, Benoit, Hart (Bret & Owen), Danielson, & AJ Styles.

Why is that ?

I'm just curious to why certain mats wrestlers won't mess with.

Remember how when Impact had them six sided ring, while it cool to look at and give Impact an different look. The wrestlers hated wrestling on the mats due the ring having almost no give, thus means taking bumps would be painful as hell. Japanese ring are similar, but with a little more give. Basically luchadores and those who are used to wrestling in those ring usually do rolls, as oppose of flat back bumps which is what most wrestlers do.
