Imagine having Danielson, Omega, White, Moxley, Samoa Joe, even Malakai Black, Claudio, Miro, Starks and others on the roster yet you have Darby, Jungle Boy and Sammy fukking Guevara in your main event title match

Stops one or group of talent being able to main event these shows all the time and give the younger talent some shine. Some people don't like it but at least they can never say Tony doesn't try to push wrestlers even the ones not ready yet

It seems the feud has been atrocious but I hate this take. People complain all the fukking time about the same people being in the main events (in any wrestling company) and now you have 3 dudes completely new to the title scene. It's pretty refreshing and at the very least it served the purpose of realizing at least Sammy and Jungle Boy aren't cut out for this kind of push

You have the biggest matchup of stars AEW has ever done in Elite vs BCC, it's wild to me people prefer to focus on the feud that is clearly meant as a transition for MJF and as a test for the other three.

I get what you’re saying, but when you only do 4 or 5 ppvs a year, this seems like a waste. You know none of them 3 are gonna win. I’m sure there’ll be some cool spots, but come on.

I’ll admit I don’t watch the weekly shows, but didn’t Starks get his title match on Dynamite? He has bigger star power than the other 3 combined

My homie wanted to do a road trip, but a comic con this weekend on top of NJ in LB held me off. Glad those things popped up because this is a card I wouldn’t wanna spend a couple of bills on.

I'm fine with the Battle Royal. 9 matches are enough for an AEW PPV and both Jericho/Cole and Anarchy in the Arena will use all the weapons, gimmicks and blood so anything else would pale in comparison

I do wonder if the point of the BR is to take the belt from OC so he can challenge MJF next. If that's the case, I think there were better ways of protecting him than this.

As much as I'd like to see both matches, you know if they were put on people would be complaining again about the amount of matches on the PPV.
