I read something a while back that it was basically his decision. Felt like there wasn't anything more he could do, or something to that effect.

Yeah, I don’t blame him at all. He was saddles with bums/non-wrestlers but that mofo knew what he was doing for sure.

Needed to just be utilized with a better cast/upcoming wrestler to promote. Feel like he would’ve been great for a heel Wardlow or Hobbs.

Hindsight is 20/20 but they would have been better off going to WWE. They got paired with Jericho and were ruined.
