The whole premise of the show is to determine king and queen of the ring. They're no longer part of the premise, so they're not important. Most of the time triple h keeps talent off the show but since they're already in Saudi then why not put them to some use and help with ticket sales and crowd engagement
.
But you don't watch the shows often and only come into WWE threads to criticize, so you wouldn't get it

Meaningless match with a predictable outcome, zero story, zero build, and zero logic because a different team just won a match to be #1 contender.
