it was noted in the financial reports years ago that Vince started the WWE Network for around $5 million dollars. there is no reason why AEW hasn't funded their own network over the last few months and started filming content for it. they could have released it this week leading up to the PPV and got way more eyes on the product. imagine them hyping their network along with the PPV? maybe even a "buy 1 month, get 1 month free" first week promo...

most fans and even casual fans would easily shell out $8-15 a month for a streaming network that offered their PPV events. no one is going to consistently spend $50 for a wrestling PPV anymore. WWE changed the game (and for the better) with the Network. AEW dropped the ball on that one.
