Kind of, and I'm not complaining because I only really give him grief for his "carny-ness", but he's never really beaten cleanly...which is fine for now.

He's overbooked and unnecessarily protected.

They don't even do "even Stevens," they just go straight to "Cody wins, wow wow wow!"

At least at first, you could just say they were stretching their legs and figuring out a pace...but now?

They've already kneecapped Archer, all for a little bump for Cody, who still gets the grandiose entrances and links to legends in his canon.

Cody is showered with adulation, all over the product, he's gonna start getting Brandi heat.

• Knows his gimmicks
• Can wrestle his ass off
• Can put the WOAT wrestler over (ahem this match)
• Can cut a promo

Was just thinking the other day on how Dustin got most of Dusty’s swagger over Cody

The thing with Dustin is that he embodies that old school territory style while having a up north gimmick WWE style. Dude knows the game like his pappy, meanwhile Cody just want to get over with the indie crowd but wants to get mainstream money. Hence why Cody comes across as a ultra try hard, while I can easily sit through a Dustin match without looking at my phone, playing the switch, or checking the email.
