So Opetai travelled back to Australia after 5 rounds of sparring because there were “no orthodox sparring partners” in the camp. Just a few hours after rumors came he dropped Fury’s ass :sas2:
Opetaia just sparred Justis Huni for camp.

He's going to kill Bredis. Expect fireworks at the weigh ins etc too. Lot of backroom shyt has played out since the last one. Opetaia been shooting from the mouth re Briedis too.

I was hearing someone say a few weeks ago that they don't believe this fight was gonna happen. They said Fury gonna find a way to dropout. The lack of promotion of this is startling. I doubt Fury will be in good enough shape to fight just 3.5 months after he looked lost vs. Ngannou.

are you kidding? barring something really extreme going down, this fight is happening..what they are talking about isnt really a barrier. just contract shyt. something similar happened with fury vs ngannou (i.e. whether its an official fight or exhibition)

He's a heavyweight...he doesn't need no more than 2 months to be in fight shape...he def wasnt in shape for ngannou but he has also operated at high body weights when he was on point...on top of that i think fury is taking this very seriously as we have barely heard a peep from him since october..that criticism got to him

I got Usyk

The 2 ways Fury fights, Usyk can take advantage

If he chooses the "come in heavier and bully you " tactic, Usyk has the footwork to evade Fury and it will fall into Usyk's wheelhouse of counterpunching and getting you mentally exhausted

If Fury tries to be a boxer, I got a feeling Usyk might be a slightly better boxer in that regard as well

I think Fury is someone who fights down to the level of his opponents or rather just has motivational problems. I don't think he was the same fighter in the Wilder trilogy and the Wlad fight as the ones who struggled with Wallin and Ngannou.
Looking at the task I think he'll get his head straight and I pick him by stoppage. I feel like a motivated Fury will capitalize on his size and power advantage and he will also target Usyk's body a lot. The stoppage will be either because directly of a body shot or a head shot resulting from Usyk trying to defending his solar plexus.

Every time I picked against Usyk he came through with some great performance though and proved me wrong. I wouldn't be mad if he did that here cause he's the more sympathetic guy of the two and it's also possible with Usyk's superior work-rate, accuracy, and stamina plus smaller southpaws gave Fury trouble in his career already.

All in all I wouldn't be shocked had Usyk pulled this off but I'm still leaning toward Fury by T/KO
