If Joshua had not rushed in without regard for any punches coming back at him he would have smoked Ruiz. But it's a lesson he had to learn. Did it against Whyte, did not learn from it. Did against Klitschko, and fatigued himself out and almost got stopped, didn't learn from it. The third times a charm cuz he did it against Ruiz and took an L. The loss to Ruiz was devastating so he had no choice but to learn from it. He'll be more dangerous moving forward.
