If Joshua had not rushed in without regard for any punches coming back at him he would have smoked Ruiz. But it's a lesson he had to learn. Did it against Whyte, did not learn from it. Did against Klitschko, and fatigued himself out and almost got stopped, didn't learn from it. The third times a charm cuz he did it against Ruiz and took an L. The loss to Ruiz was devastating so he had no choice but to learn from it. He'll be more dangerous moving forward.

exactly, folks have amnesia or just hate AJ cause they like Wilder or Fury. AJ was making Ruiz look like he was a 1997 Sunday Night Heat Jobber until AJ got excited and lost discipline allowing Ruiz to get lucky

The "superheavyweight" eras not looking too super. Despite this having better than the last
nah...this era has charles martin as a former champion...most ppl dont like the klitschko era because those 2 were too dominant...this era has more parity..doesnt mean the talent is better lol

No I mean fights better. But talent wise heavyweight is still lacking.

Your spot on in what I feel u been insinuating.

I actually predicted this, that once wlad retired the heavyweight division would all of a sudden have all this talent. Fact of the matter is when the brothers were dominating there was talent but they were so dominate it didn’t make it seem so. Wlad took so many boxers O’s during his run, most of those fighters he beat are still fighting and being somewhat competitive with the top guys right now.

If wlad and vitali were in there prime they would crush the current heavyweights, vitali would beat Tyson fury tbh.

andy won but he still hurt his stock with this. you should not have an angry and confident arreola ranting after the fight if you want to be taken seriously in the top 5. man should have whooped this busted up 40 year old man's ass, but instead, he got dropped early by the dude.

this..so far almost every noted heavy has had a fight that either they unexpectedly struggled too much in and/or took a L

fury had wallin
joshua had ruiz
wilder had fury
parker had chisora
whyte had povetkin
ortiz had hammer

usyk is still the lone wildcard left but his heavyweight performances havent been all that great

That left hook was lucky..Joshua just didn't use elite instincts to finish him. Tyson would of murdered Ruiz after that knockdown.
