Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
i think u overestimatin things a bit. bar and bottle service is pretty much the only way clubs make money. owner pays promoters (huge chunk too), djs, bouncers, lease, bartenders, etc. unless your shyt is consistently top notch, shyt can die down a bit. clubs are always rated by not how they are but who is there....clientel changes so does yer profit

i guess i read your post all wrong.. how you put it that bottle service was popping in your club.. had you making more space for vip, and you literally couldn't even keep enough bottles on hand

i now catch that line about you saying you didn't like the atmosphere it was bringing it... bunch of nikkas flossing and the other half hating.. that's lead to many a shootout from regular nikkas to famous ballers. i get that

Me and my boys had bottle service at Marquee in Vegas and honestly I would say its worth it. Like another guy said, we got to skip that long ass line, had our own area where we could sit the fukk down (and believe me having a place to sit gets girls on its own), and we had so much liquor we couldnt even drink it all and there were 8 of us. The bottles were nowhere near 450 a piece though. I think the Goose bottles were itemized at 300 on the receipt.

Bottle service is just a way for the clubs to justify charging a fortune for VIP access... but like several people have said, if you're going to a club for the whole night, it's worth the money, and you'll probably come out even/ahead when you factor in skipping the line/cover, not having to wait in line at the bar, having a place to sit down, usually a separate/private bathroom, etc... It's a bonus that I'm not standing at the bar/on the dance floor getting my shoes stepped on, drinks spilled on me... Over the years I've done bottle service at Mansion in Miami, Rain/Moon/Tao in Vegas, Mixx/Casbah/HQ/The Pool in AC and a couple strip clubs in Philly, LOL... I'm no baller, but if you're going out to do the club scene, it's the only way to do it...

Vegas Miami its the only way to party. Heauxs go crazy and its worth it. In a packed club u spend half the night trying to get to the bar when u don't have bottles.

You acting like they give you a bottle and then you go home.
You going to skip waiting in a hour long line.
You gonna get your own vip area. So your not playing tetris to move around ppl in the club
You gonna be in one of the hottest clubs in the country
you gonna have a dime peice server
and you are GUARANTEED to be surrounded with model type bytches that are going.
You can damn near fukk a bytch in those vip areas compared to struggling to get room to dance with a bytch on the dancefloor.

Its obviously not a everyday thing. But if all your homies are ever in town together or take a trip together its well worth it.

whatever floats ya boat u fukking fakkit, but give me $1000 dollars and I can fukk a model, cop some loud, buy a bottle of whatever beverage I choose and still have some money leftover to do something with. u basically paying for an image and putting yaself in a position to have bytches freeload off u. It's an all around bad investment but nikkas like u dont get it. If thats fun to u than that's cool do u, u lil stank breath bytch.

:dahell: so im confused.. you got out the club owning business because you were making too much money :patrice:

at what point in my post did you read that i got out of it because i was making to much money?

i got out of it because I didnt enjoy it anymore, I just dreaded the weekend coming around.... all the stress, the politics ....all the drama involved in trying to hang on to my license......

So the prices for bottle services and the demand for VIP got higher, yet it's killing the club scene and you decided to get out of the business..:rudy:

How does that make sense breh

because unfortunately in the long term those are the the that kill your business in the long run...

a club that is basically about the music will last forever

the club that is about bottles the vip etc... will only last as long as the "fashionable" people decide....when a newer joint opens up your done... Most of these clubs have a very short shelf life because they attract the type of people that just want to go to the new fashionable spot

I knew my spot probably had about 18 months before it became "old news"....

I got a good offer , took the money and never looked back
I got a good offer, took the money and ran.....

why would you get out of that? i mean from a business standpoint it sounds like you can make unlimited dough..

cases of that ciroc for 50... sell them for 450.. you ain't buying them, so why care that MORE people want to buy them and you literally can't keep them on hand

isn't that the point?? unless you got into it for the love and hate seeing what it's become

I was making dough but I knew that In the long term it would shorten the life of the club, a lot of the regulars that used to come for the music started to stay away.... I started to really hate the music and the new promoters

There was a lot of other shyt as well , but by that time I was pretty much burned out and jaded ...

By that time it was just about the money, I was doing a lot of dodgy and foul shyt as well because I was past caring about the customers....

with bottle service taking off it brought an increase in a "certain type of customer" which in itself brought more hassle....

been there, done that.....

used to charge $700 for a bottle of Cristal.... the night of the Mayweather Hatton fight I was charging $1000 a bottle and I ran out of bottles...

bottle service and VIP is what is destroying the club scene and I say this from a former owners point of view

I had to increase the size of the VIP twice in a year and even upping the minimum spend per table didnt quell the demand

I could see how the scene was going and Im glad I got out when I did

when I used to hit the clubs with my friends all we were interested in was If we got a girls number or a dance and what the music was like, the only talk about drink was whether we got drunk or not...

Now dudes are ordering bottles and taking pictures of the bottles and receipts just to be putting on twitter/instagram/facebook...

spent $5000 in the VIP and you still left the club alone.......

I used to tell people.... you could have a club made of solid gold and diamonds and have a VIP that was a small wooden shack that stank and people would still kill themselves to get in...

so why did u get out? there has to be more to this story with the way these clubs are over pricing their shyt?
