nikka please, if you think that Chiwetol Ejiofor and Idris Elba don't have the chops to play a convincingly serious, badass, and regal T'Challa then YOU are the one trolling. It's called ACTING, and both actors have proven themselves in a multitude of various roles, which is why to date, neither of them have suffered type casting, one of them is a Golden Globe winner, and the other is an Oscar nominee. To add insult to injury you put forth an example of a Cac, a CAC, as an example of how to convincingly play an African King? First off Magneto couldn't be the furthest thing from T'Challa. Magneto is a conflicted villain with disillusions of grandeur and mutant supremacy suffering from severe mommy issues. T'Challa is calculated, intelligent, noble, proud and carries himself with confidence at ALL times. Chiwetol and Idris can embody that, as matter of fact Idris has already proven he can do both "archetypes" on his BBC show Luther.

Elba is Heimdall, Jordan is corny and goofy, Bossman isn't threatening, Ejiofor is a babyface and cannot play an intimidating guy.

I am of the same opinion. When it drops I want the Black community out in DROVES. Especially if they make it the same quality as the rest of the MCU I want this shyt to do no less than Thor numbers. Yep.... All this speculating, bytching, and moaning won't mean shyt if niccas let this shyt go out like After Earth. Good movie or bad movie..... People ..... No BLACK PEOPLE should've been more supportive. All these movies with young white kids as protagonist and saving the world and shyt and most of them are not even better than that movie nor did the leads do a better job than J. Smith.

There prolly won't be another movie of that sorts for years to come but I'm sure Hollywood had like 20 new movies coming out in the next 3 years with some young white kids save the world.

They don't want us too successful you see what happen to Snipes gave his all the first 2 movies then they try to screw him over for the 3rd flick. Snipes was blackballed and was only able to get direct to DVD flicks while the sorry director/writer Goyer career has skyrocketed even with his numerous flops.

My points were in relation to Ejiofor and Jordan, that was clear when I named them. Secondly i've cited roles where Ejiofor tried to play "threatening" and "intimidating" characters where it didn't work("Four Brothers", "Serenity" and "Children of Men") and mentioned his "babyface" also being a problem as it prevents him from looking remotely "threatening" or being a "believable action star" . I mean why do you think there was repetition of this phrase "doesn't look like a non-threatening goofy ass nikka" in the post?, because the point was in relation to that, but obviously you didn't read it as you were more interested in fishing for daps and going on a tangent . I then suggested Oyelowo as he has the look of the character in my opinion, can act, has a commanding voice and "doesn't look like a non-threatening goofy ass nikka" .

Another reason why I cited Fassbender's Magneto, is because the character in X-MEN: First Class was essentially James Bond with powers and nothing like the comic version except for the ideology part, which I didn't mention, because it obviously wouldn't make a sense. In First Class, Magneto like Bond, had swag, suave, was wearing suits, was globetrotting, was infiltrating like a spy, ruthless and "threatening" at the same time. He had a lot of Bond's traits and was modeled after Sean Connery's Bond. All those traits are applicable to Black Panther, that's why I called Fassbender's Magneto the "archetype" because the character is the first superhero with powers to be based on James Bond in live action, with a revenge story included.

Even the story is somewhat similar, Magneto's mother = T'Chaka, Magneto = T'Challa and Sebastian Shaw = Ulysses Klaw. Shaw/Klaw kills Magneto's Mother/Black Panthers father which leads to the creation of the hero Magneto/Black Panther who wants revenge, to avenge the parent. Magneto/Black Panther globe-trots after Shaw/Klaw and discovers that the villain is planning even bigger and more dangerous things, Shaw plans to cause Wold War 3 to kill off everyone who isn't a mutant, Klaw wants to attack and destroy Wakanda for their Vibranium. Black Panther will have to come out of Wakanda to integrate with other characters. So that's most likely how it will happen when the character pops up.

they either need Michael Jai White or an unknown actor. Black Panther needs to be a brolic fighter
White has the size and agility, he's old but he still looks young, and with make up he can look younger.
Ejiofor did good in Red Belt and was convincing as a Martial Artist, bu he doesn't have the size

I agree as far as Mike's look/build but "Spawn" left a sour taste in my mouth which make me iff about dude being caste in another black super hero movie but that could be more due to the script/direction than dudes performance
