I highly doubt they're going to take the belt off of Kofi or turn anyone in New Day heel when the new champion merch doesn't come out until April 26.

It's not IMPOSSIBLE, but the merch is issued and advertised. No reason to make it worthless a day after the moment.

In kayfabe sense though ... it's a brilliant move by Kofi. He's got all the momentum in the world and Seth Rollins narrowly escaped Brock Lesnar. If he were ever ripe for the picking it's now.
