Started a thread earlier about a possible wrestling boom and the consensus was no so I guess most wrestling fans are cynical.

I think it's possible. I can only speak for me but my interest has been piqued for the first time in years. Watched a random RAW a few weeks back for nostalgic purposes and in part because nothing else was on. Saw the Wyatts and the Shield. :whoo: WWE has something.

That's that, "Pops cancelled on me again.," type of look.

:laff: :laff: :laff: The disappointment.

Looks like Disco Inferno in the paint :russ:

A boom is a whole nother thing tho...

A boom is mainstream exposure, a star who is known by people who don't even watch, wrestling being the "cool thing" to be into, shyt like that... all happening in synergy. Might happen, but I'm not counting on it.

We ain't talkin about that tho... I'm talkin about a VAST improvement in the product and new top stars being built. I just hope it continues going in this direction AND producing results.

Whoever wrote tonight... needs to stay put if they can even do HALF as good every week.

shyt feels like a whole new era starting.

You got the 2000s big names (Cena, Orton, Batista, Lesnar, HHH) still there, the newer guys (Bryan, Shield, Wyatt, Cesaro) steppin' it up more and more and consistently delivering, the dudes who already got their time to shine (Sheamus, Kofi, Miz, Ziggler, Del Rio, etc.) being pushed back, and new arrivals on the way.

Vince musta walked up in that building and started talkin' about firing people, cause whoever's behind this is on the fukkin' ball.

CM Punk probably picked the worst time to leave. This is somethin' he should be a part of.
I honestly don't even know where Punk would fit in at this point
